About the project

I worked at Tokyo Digital Music (TDMS INC., Japan) for over 2.5 years as an outstaff developer via Mobilunity, a development services provider. We worked on the development and support of Qrates - a crowdfunding music platform for musicians focused on making, sharing and manufacturing vinyl records. The great platform where you can enjoy music by various creators, purchase vinyl records, or produce your own.

Unfortunately, people now buy more guns than music. Due to financial difficulties, the project was unfortunately forced to close.

This was more than just a job for me. I'm truly grateful to Jun Komatsu-san and my Team. I believe the project will come back to life when better times return. Music in your hands, without the barriers, from Tokyo to the world

My responsibilities

Feature development and bug fixing (front-end)

Migrating legacy Ruby on Rails views to React SPA, SSR, refactoring

UI/UX (ideas & improvements, involved in design meetings & discussions)
